The outreaches of INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES includes BUILDERS INTERNATIONAL

INTERNATIONAL MINISTRIES IS MADE UP OF STRATEGIC OUTREACHES that focus on meeting specific needs for missionaries and national fellowships worldwide. Missionaries serving with International Ministries are uniquely skilled in creating and providing materials and means that help resident missionaries in their outreach efforts. Using printed resources, one-on-one training, construction expertise or medical assistance, International Ministries is helping to fulfill the mission of Assemblies of God World Missions by reaching the lost, planting churches, training disciples and touching people in need around the world.

By offering specific skills, missionaries with International Ministries help make witnessing and discipleship more effective, which can help open doors for the church. Their specific abilities are particularly useful in restricted-access areas where nontraditional outreaches are needed.

The tools used by missionaries with International Ministries range from computers to concrete mixers to stethoscopes. Their methods of ministry may not be typical, but their goal is the same: reaching the lost with the love of Christ. Called by God and gifted with unique skills, they work to provide what is needed to open doors for the gospel.

THE PROJECTS BUILDERS INTERNATIONAL HELPS BUILD are driven by the field’s need in alignment with AGWM’s goals. One of the factors used to determine priority projects is whether the project reaches out to unreached people groups.

The facilities built by Builders International are used to train ministers and missionaries from national AG fellowships. These facilities play a role in helping to carry the gospel to all nations and establishing the church among unreached people groups.

JOHN AND I are A/G International Ministries missionaries serving with Builders International. As the Regional Project Mangers for Latin America and the Caribbean, we have the opportunity and responsibly of helping bring transformation to lives and communities through the construction ministry. Jesus was a carpenter, but his purpose was to do the will of the Father. In obedience to our calling, our heart is to see people set free from sin and oppression and introduced to a new life of freedom in Christ.

Classes Begin! First Time! – La Garita, Costa Rica

IMG_1986 IMG_2011 IMG_2023 IMG_2038

September 15th classes will begin at the missionary training campus in La Garita, Costa Rica for the first time! Twenty-nine national students will start training, as they fulfill their call to missions, primarily to the middle east.

John had the privilege of hosting Oak Creek Assembly of God team to La Garita, Costa Rica, where they continue construction on the school in preparation of the up and coming classes.  Eight men teamed together with the national workers. They worked day and night to remove and replace the roofing structure over the current administration building.

At the end of the day much had been accomplished in the physical work done and in the hearts of everyone there, knowing the investment being made to further the gospel.

Greetings,

Deborah and I will be starting full itineration June 1st, 2015.

For the past six years we have served in the AGWM construction ministry and will continue to serve with Builders International as Regional Project Managers for Latin America/Caribbean.

The Assemblies of God has 67,512,302 constituents, with 366,105 churches. One new believer is added every 21 seconds. One new church is planted every 54 minutes. There is an ever-growing need for facilities that will help train ministers in other countries to reach their communities with the gospel. Deborah and I have committed our lives to using our skills, gifts, and calling to help meet this need and advance the gospel to every nations.

We are excited about this upcoming year and time spent with our churches. We would consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to share with you and your church what God is doing through the construction ministry in Latin America and the Caribbean.

With your help we can reach this goal and go further in our mission!

Thank You,

John Sims

The Lord blessed us this March with a beautiful new daughter-in-law, Stephanie Kahn Sims! Nathaniel and Stephanie reside in Orlando, FL and are currently on staff at Resound Missions Base.

STEPHANIE SIMS is the Assistant Director of Resound Missions Base, oversees Resound Summer Sessions, and Outreach Orlando. She grew up in church most of her life and served in various ministries for several years, yet she felt that there was more to God than she was experiencing and living. God answered the cry of her heart for more of Him. After graduating from University in the Philippines, she came to America on what would turn out to be the best adventure of her life. It was here that she attended Resound School of Ministry and found what she was looking for a deeper relationship with God and a life set on fire. After graduation from Resound School, Stephanie joined Resound’s full-time staff. Stephanie is committed to raising up those who are called to faithfully minister to the Lord through prayer, community, studying the word and outreach.

Cuba Today!

In 2013, God placed a passion in my heart for the church in Cuba. My desire was to assist them in the building of their churches as the Holy Spirit empowers them to reach the lost. It’s been an amazing phenomena that cannot be explained in human terms, yet it is happening. In April the Confidence in God Church in Havana Cuba will have a public dedication. This has been a 15 year work in progress, from permits to building.

Joe Crew writes. . . Even though the building is not 100% complete, Pastor Moises had this service on Sunday evening, December 28th, in the Confidence in God Church, Havana, Cuba. Over 800 from around the community were in attendance with 60 conversions. Praise The Lord!

Thanks to the dedication of the church in Cuba, the partnership of US teams, and generous donations, a miracle has taken place! What a privilege to be a part of this historic making project! To God be all the glory!
